Our residents discovered a new art technique this month, blow painting! Using straws and paint, they created beautiful, unique designs that truly showcased their creativity. The activity sparked plenty of smiles and conversation as everyone admired the colorful masterpieces that came to life.
Ahoy, mateys! Residents embraced the fun spirit of Talk Like a Pirate Day, dressing up in pirate hats, eye patches, and stripes for a swashbuckling good time. The room was filled with laughter and cheerful “Arrr’s” as everyone joined in on the playful theme.
This month’s Petland visits were a huge hit! Residents had the chance to meet adorable puppies, a soft bunny, a curious snake, and even a gentle dragon. The joy and excitement these animals brought were contagious, reminding us how much happiness a friendly visit can bring.
We ended the week on a delicious note with our Pancake Day celebration! Residents got to create their own pancake masterpieces at our custom pancake bar, adding syrup, fruit, whipped cream, and all their favorite toppings. It was a sweet way to end the week and enjoy breakfast together with friends.
